Jones Networking is recruiting a Trust & Estate Planning Attorney to join a growing law firm in Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate will be a senior or partner-level attorney who practices wills, trusts, and estates law. The Firm offers a lucrative salary and bonus structure and hybrid working schedule.
Senior Trust & Estate Planning Attorney Responsibilities:
- Provide creative solutions to clients' legal challenges by analyzing their situations, understanding their requirements, and developing a tailored strategic approach
- Ability to draft both basic and sophisticated estate planning documents including those which incorporate estate and income tax planning including irrevocable trusts
- Experience catering to and addressing the planning needs of federally taxable estates
- Consult with potential clients to ascertain their needs and decide on the next steps
- Engage in matter management to ensure all cases move forward in a timely manner
Senior Trust & Estate Planning Attorney Requirements:
- Applicants must be licensed to practice law in North Carolina.
- Must have a minimum of 3+ years of Estate Planning experience.
- Self-motivated and organized while working through multiple projects and prioritizing tasks assigned
- Ability to draft written communication or verbal communication with other office staff, as well as clients and opposing attorneys
- Ability to work with family members, beneficiaries, executors, and fiduciaries
- Book of business is required
